Down with Politics..
I was dropped a bombshell today. For many of you, you all probably know what was it already so I guess I dont have to elaborate. I was feeling really really down but after talking to a few people from Team AOM, I felt so determined to make sure everything is alright.
I have said it before and I shall say it again: AOM shall be the only school with no politics and it shall remain that way!!!
I know a lot of times I have chosen to keep quiet but I have never ever done anything against my conscience. I have always been in the light and the rumours that were flying around were always in the dark. Choosing to keep quiet doesnt mean I am trying to hide, it simply means I am not the one who keeps talking and using words against others. Because I believe in no politics, so I shall do what i preach.
Anytime anyone needs to verify anything with me can just do so. My conscience is clear. And i will clarify your doubts to my best ability, whether in music, singing or whatever topic you all wanna know, like I have always done so.
I will continue to ensure the school is healthy and standing proud. Thank you Mattie for your support. Thank you Clara for sponsoring 'detergent' to 'clean' the school. Thank you Agnes for the care you have shown me. Thank you Benedict for understanding. And Thank You Team AOM for giving strength to carry on fighting. May we all stand tall and proud!! And get ready to celebrate AOM's Anniversary!!!!!

Thank you Clara...
If I say I am not disappointed, then I would be kidding myself. I cant believe this could actually happen. Utter shock.......

Hey Clara.. Thank you so much for caring. I appreciate the effort in stepping forward to ask and to clear any misunderstandings that is happening. Honestly, I din even know there was such a ridiculous rumour, something which can be verified just by using a little more common sense.
Dont worry about it. I will continue to try my best. I remembered someone told me about it. If you always do your best, there would be someone who would be able to see it. Like you say, there would be light at the end of the tunnel.
Feeling blessed and really proud to have taught ya. Team AOM will be standing tall and proud because of you. Not just a Campus Superstar, but a STAR in your own right. Thank you once again.

Ps: All the best for your O levels.. I am still waiting for ya 6 points.

The Road Not Taken
I really like this poem and the meaning behind it. Just want to share it with all Team AOM members and everyone out there.
The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
And Charlene and Tiff, I know you both are facing a rather big dilemma at the moment. Stay calm and strong. Everything can be worked out. All the best to the both of you.

All in a Day's Work
Just wanna share a little of whatever I do in a day's work for friday.
6.30am
Waking up time!! Yah, and I think I only get around 4 hours of sleep. Actually, I think it's the average amount of time i get to sleep everyday. Trying to sleep a little more but I think my body's clock is a little spoilt. Any cure on that anyone?
7.30am
Reached CPF building in Shenton Way. Went for a BNI business meeting. Really enjoyed the session today. Still not really used to the early timing. The meeting was held in Secret Recipe. It was a fixed catered menu and the food served was fishball bee hoon. Oh no.. bee hoon.. my nemesis. Din touch the bee hoon at all. Hahaha..
Today's presentation was done by Steven Yap showing us his Content Management System (CMS) for website. Impressive.
10.00am
The business ended smoothly. I love the energy level shown by every member of our group. It was great positive energy. Got to know a few more new friends from BNI. Think they are going to have an informal eating session soon. Oh.. Interestingly, a lady working in Secret Recipe approached me and wanted to enrol her daughter for vocal class because she overheard the presentation.
11.00am
Reached home and checked through all the mails. Started doing some of the necessary work.
12.30pm
Had lunch with a business associate.
2.30pm
Went to Boon Lay Secondary to conduct the choir session today. Must start coming up with a new strategy to ensure that everyone will be able to remember their parts and not get influenced by the other sections around them. Especially guys. But dont worry Boon Layians.. I told ya before and I am going to say that again.. i will not give up on you all. We shall do this together.
5.30pm
Had to submit 40 names from the choir to attend a choir performance. Hmm.. looking the list is an easier task right now thanks to the camp. Called Doris to keep track of what's happening at AOM. Also managed to give Tiffany a call to confirm her 2 songs for the next round of Project Superstar. I wish her all the best!! Of course, good luck to charlene, sylvia and jingkai as well!!
6.15pm
Went home to get ready for a dinner outside. Today's my brother's birthday so went out for a really nice dinner.
11.00pm
Really kinda sleepy after a long day but still have the energy to do some blogging. May all of you enjoy your weekends!!

Boon Lay Sec Choir Camp
I guess at the end of the day, I can say that the camp went smoothly with no major problems. I must take this oppurtunity to thank Team AOM for a job well done. Thank you sooo much guys!! I love you all!!
Let's take a look at some of the action we had over the 3 days of fun!!

Okie.. This picture is taken after we have the water bomb games and yes, i was totally targetted by everyone in the whole Boon Lay Sec including Team AOM. Obviously, i could not escape the fate of getting totally drenched. Haha.. Come to think of it.. The person in this picture with me, Tiff, is the one who first started the attack on me!!!
Well.. The most important is that everybody enjoyed themselves.

I think this group is supposed to do some Orcale task of throwing their shoes up to the second storey. Wonder whose idea is it. Was kinda worried cos 2nd storey is where the staff room is at. Juz imagine a teacher getting hit by a flying shoe!!

Yes!! It's lunchtime!! And these are our friendly customer service operators serving out delicious food. On the left is Hye Na, who is half Korean like Matthew from AOM. In the middle we have Waikit, the Mr Soprano. That's what I call him in school everytime. And on the right we have Jiahui.

We had some performances and singing sessions in the evening.

These four gals are from the committee of the choir. They are from left to right namely, Jiahui, Hye Na, Julien and Carol. Actually there are a lot more cheeky pictures from where this came from, but.. hee.. sorry.. I am keeping this environment healthy and fun!!

Yes, some interaction between the choir and Team AOM. I think this picture was done in the morning of the third day. If you look closely at all of them, yupz, the faces of people lacking sleep.
There are some photos that juz cant seem to be uploaded so that's all that I could do. I hope everyone did enjoy themselves. Once again Boon Lay Sec CHoir and Team AOM.. I love ya all!!!

An Example to all....
Hey everyone!!! Finally I am back!!!! Will talk about the Choir camp in the next entry. For now i would wanna mention about a particular person whom i think can be an example for all in AOM.
This particular person happens to be my secondary 4 classmate Steven Yap. Met him yesterday during River Valley High 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner. He owns a web design company but his story, which I am going to tell, will serve as an insipration for all of ya out there.
Before he was doing his web design company, he was the owner of 2 Roti Boy franchiees. As you all know, because of all the other competitions from Mama Roti, Papa Roti, Baby Roti and all the other whatever Rotis, his franchiees din do that well. In the end, he was forced to end the business. His troubles didnt end there. He lost a total of 100K.
Any debt amount like that could have destroyed anyone's morale and confidence. But like a real fighter he is, he picked himself up and started building his web design company. Like what they say in the English Premier League, this is what you called as bouncebackability. And yes, it's a word recognised in Oxford dictionary. Good job, Steven!!
I am really inspired by his story because at my age, this amount of loss is certainly a very big blow. But this is the type of fighting spirit I want everyone in Team AOM to have. May we meet all obstacles with courage. Aja Aja Team AOM!!!
I also wanna wish Steven the best in his future endeavours. Good Luck!!

Oh.. and Clara.. stop watching your Korean Drama!! Start studying!! Only 2 months to go!!!
And to Team AOM members who are going to the camp with me, hope you will enjoy yourselves!!!!!!
